I just did my seats last week in my 3000GT. I have a custom black w/red insert combo and noticed the red sections were getting dirty in the cracks. So I used my Lexol cleaner first. It didn't seem to do much, so I used a fingernail brush to help get it out with better results, but still not enough. I spent quite a bit of time on them scrubbing and wiping. And I mean I really scrubbed the hell out of the seats! Then I used the Lexol conditioner. It left the seats feeling kind of sticky. So I got my old bottle of 3M vinyl/leather protectant and cleaner I never used and quickly ran through them just to leave it supple. After the first 2 seats I noticed the new white rag I was using was turning brown from the dirt. I had to flip that towel and used every side before it was dirty as hell. It just came out of the washr/dryer and it's still stained. What the hell was that about? I always used Lexol and nothing else. I had nothing to compare it to, I just did what everybody else recommended. Besides, you have to buy 2 bottles of that stuff and do twice the work. So no more Lexol for me. *thumbs down* I don't work for 3M. Hell I dont work for anybody right now. I don't know where to get that stuff, my dad bought it for me a few years ago but I never wanted to use it. But I'm going to get it back out and try scrubbing those cracks with that and the brush again.
